ISLAMABAD:
Law and Justice Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar on Tuesday informed the Senate that there is no restriction or ban on the admission of Baloch students in public sector universities in Punjab.
Replying to a point raised by Senator Kamran Murtaza in the Senate, the minister said a total of 3,850 Baloch students were currently enrolled in various universities in Punjab and their quota remained completely intact.
He said majority of these students were studying at Punjab University, Government College University, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Islamia University Bahawalpur and other public sector institutions.
