Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said Pakistan received a tremendous welcome at the inaugural meeting of the Peace Council, held in Washington earlier today.
Addressing the media, the minister said that US President Donald Trump had specifically congratulated the leaders of Pakistan, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and COAS and CDF Marshal Syed Asim Munir, recognizing Pakistan’s vital role in promoting world peace.
“This high-level distinction has significantly enhanced Pakistan’s international prestige and is a proud moment for Pakistanis,” he added.
