Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s advisor on interior and accountability Mirza Shehzad Akbar has been declared a delinquent, Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Abbas Shah announced. The judge also ordered Akbar’s arrest.
Despite being summoned several times, Akbar reportedly failed to appear in court. The charge against him was filed based on allegedly controversial statements posted on X (formerly Twitter). The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had filed a complaint against Akbar in July 2025 in this regard.

Along with Akbar, the government also demanded the return of Adil Raja, a former Pakistani army officer accused of anti-state propaganda.
In July this year, the former special assistant was also named as a central figure in the ongoing £190million landmark case involving Khan, now incarcerated, and businessman Malik Riaz.
