The MLB All-Star match will take place Tuesday evening in Trist Park in Cumberland, Georgia, the American League seeking to continue its domination on the National League.
The American League won 10 of the last 11 games, not counting the 2020 season in which the match was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The National League won the match in 2023, but the American League rectified its defeat last season in Arlington, Texas.

This year, the game goes to the Home of the Braves of Atlanta. This is the first time that the star match will have been played in their stadium because they have played Turner Field in 2000.
The Braves were initially supposed to welcome the 2021 stars match at Truist Park, but it was removed from an uproar on a law on the vote that the State adopted. The 2021 electoral integrity law imposed new restrictions on voting by mail, added requirements for identifying voters and limited voting boxes. The president of the time, Joe Biden, criticized the law as “Jim Crow on steroids”.
On Monday, the governor of Georgia Brian Kemp congratulated the MLB for returning the game in Atlanta and created economic opportunities for the city companies.
“We are delighted that the game was finally here. It should have been here several years ago. They should never have pulled it to start, but fortunately, the game returns,” Kemp said in an appearance on “Fox & Friends”.
“It’s good for the brave organization. It’s good for all sellers and small businesses in and around the stadium and in the city of Atlanta in the Cobb county and really for our entire state.”

The law is currently still in place while the world of baseball descends to the city.
Regarding the match, the launcher of the reigning American league Cy Young, Tarik Skubal, of Detroit Tigers, should start against the recruit of the national league year, the pirate star of Pittsburgh, Paul Skenes.
The All-Star of New York Yankees, Max Fried, gave Skubal the opportunity to start the match because he thought that Skubal had won the honor.
