Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout was one of the players of the American League West to complain about the travel calendar they have to follow at the start of the season.

The Angels began the year with six consecutive games on the road. A three -game homestand then preceded nine California games. At the start of the year, he was from Chicago to Saint-Louis. After returning to Anaheim, the team went to Tampa, Houston and Arlington before finally going home.

Trout told athletics that he did not think that the calendar is “ideal”.

“I don’t know when we are supposed to land, but it’s going to be early. And we have to play that night. And the worst part is that the next day is a day game,” he said.

The latest Angels match in Tampa in their last road trip was a day game followed by Travel in Houston to play a night match. After their last night match in Arlington against the Texans Rangers, the team returned to Anaheim for a night match against the Giants of San Francisco.

“I don’t think it’s healthy for anyone,” added Angels Closer Kenley Jansen. “To finish playing a night match like that, enter six in the morning. Then you have a match at seven o’clock, and the next few days, you have an hour. It’s certainly not fair.”

The collective negotiation agreement has specific rules that govern journey times, according to athletics. A flight is expected to take three hours and a minute for flight matches.

“The process of selection of hours of play begins for months before an upcoming season, and during these discussions, our club makes the convenience of our fans an absolute priority,” said a spokesperson for Angels at the point of sale.

Currently, the Angeles are in the middle of a family home against Pittsburgh Pirates. But after their 9:29 p.m. time match against the pirates on Thursday, the team will go to Minneapolis for a series against the Twins, followed by a two -game road trip against the Seattle Mariners with a day off between the two.
