The former MLB superstar Josh Hamilton said that the Holy Spirit had told him that he was going to hit a Home Run in the 2011 World Series.

The Rangers played the Cardinals of Saint-Louis in the 2011 World Series and, while on the bridge, the Holy Spirit told him that he was going to strike a home run, said Hamilton.

“The Holy Spirit told me on the bridge that I was about to hit a home run because it was … I hadn’t hit one for a while, and I said to myself:” OK. “First throw, Whack,” Hamilton said during an appearance on PK Press Club “Will Cain Country”.

Hamilton’s circuit stroke gave the Rangers an advance of 9-7 in the 10th round of match 6. They were up 3-2 in the series at the time. However, the Rangers could not finish the match and they lost the World Series in seven games.

Hamilton was not always with the Lord. The 2010 MVP of AL remembers having been raised in drugs when his grandmother sent him a message that the Lord allowed him to hear.

“I like my grandmother more than anything. And for the first time, all the things my parents had told me, that she had told me, -” Hey, we love you. You are better than that. You can do great things. We believe in you. ” – All these things I was told, and I was actually high when she was talking to me, I have the impression that the Lord just erased the head and allowed me to hear it.

“And this is where, hey, I entered the back room, I closed the door, I dug the bible from the cupboard, I threw it on the bed when things started to turn around.”

Hamilton, a high -level hope with Tampa Bay Rays, has dealt with drug addiction problems. In 2003, he was far from the team for personal reasons. In 2004, he was suspended for violating the drug policy and did not play all season.

Hamilton did not play in 2005 either when he was trying to get up to play again and was placed on the listed list by the Rays. Hamilton made his MLB debut with the Cincinnati Reds in 2006.

He was exchanged at the Rangers the following season and turned into superstar. Hamilton made the star match five consecutive years and won the AL MVP in 2010.

Hamilton did not play in MLB after 2015 and found his name in the headlines for problems off the field shortly after.

In 2019, Hamilton was accused of injury to a child after being accused of having physically assaulted his eldest daughter. Hamilton pleaded guilty of illegal restraint, an offense.

However, he said he had proof of being innocent but did not want to have his children testify and have his family sit before a jury.

“Imagine just being accused of something you have not done and you should, see, you have the proof that you did not do so that you can clarify it. You are innocent. But then you have decided because you have a DA which is in the electoral year, you cannot seem to highlight,” said Hamilton.

“Am I going to slide my two other younger daughters in (a courtroom) and they will have to testify and everything. I’m not going to be a good father. I’m going to come across the proverbial sword here for my family and close this thing when it comes to making them live and pass from the media and take it for that.
