The star of Philadelphia Phillies, Kyle Schwarber, became the 21st player in the history of the MLB for having struck four circuits in a game in the 19-4 victory of the team on the Braves of Atlanta on Thursday in Citizens Bank Park.
Schwarber, 32, established the Phillies franchise record with nine products produced and took the lead in the National League with a career summit of 49. His nine produced points gave him 119 this season, which leads the major baseball league.
Schwarber’s first explosion came in the first round with the Phillies following 3-0. The start of the brave Cali Esterill hung a 2-1 curve ball that Schwarber hammered at 450 feet in the second bridge to cut the advance at 3-1.

Triple All-Star delivered its second fourth round circuit with the Phillies up 8-3. The left-handed lift of the Braves, Austin Cox, hung a curve ball of 80 mi / h in a 3-2 account, and Schwarber hung him at 386 feet around the post for lack of two points to do it 10-3.

Mike Schmidt was the last Phillie player to hit four circuits in a match, doing it against the Chicago Cubs in April 1976. Schwarber recorded the third game of the season of the season after Eugenio Suárez and Nick Kurtz.
“It just cooperated,” said Schwarber. “You can do everything correctly and go out, and you can hurt everything and get a blow.
Schwarber had a chance for a fifth circuit against a position player, but faced the third goal of Braves, Vidal Brujan.

“I stink against position players,” joked Schwarber. “Everything you try to do is have a good pitch. I had the field. I just did it.”
Schwarber has 333 11 seasons circuits with Cubs, Washington Nationals, Boston Red Sox and Phillies. Its previous career summit was 47 in 2023 with Philadelphia.
The Phillies (77-57) will face the Braves (61-73) in the second match of their four game series on Friday at 6:45 p.m..
