“The threats against my life and my wife’s life are horrible and cruel. You need help,” wrote Hendriks on her Instagram history.

“Leaving comments telling me to commit suicide and how you would like me to die from cancer is disgusting and vile.”

“Maybe you should take a step back and reassess the goal of your life before hiding behind a screen attacking players and their families.”

Hendriks announced that he had received a cancer diagnosis, the non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in January 2023. Triple All-Star returned to the mound less than five months later and presented the White Sox of Chicago.

However, after only five appearances since his return to the field after his fight with cancer, Hendriks needed Tommy John surgery. The Red Sox signed it for a $ 10 million contract over two years in 2024 in its recovery, but Hendriks did not launch last season when it is rehabilitated.

“Whether you (send death threats) to your” false accounts “or are you stupid enough to do it from your real account. I think I speak for all players who have to face this in their careers when I say,” wrote Hendriks.

“Enough, that’s enough.”

Hendriks had trouble this season with the Red Sox because he has a 5.56 MPM in 11 games.

During his 14-year career, Hendriks has a 33-35 file with a 3.85 MPM with 738 stick withdrawal in 661.1 career innings.
