MLB News: Manny Machado Padres Records Records 2,000th Hit in career

The third goal of the star of San Diego Padres, Manny Machado, recorded his 2,000th career success in the defeat of the 6-3 team against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday in Petco Park.

Machado has become the fifth active player with 2,000 strokes and the 12th player in MLB history to have 350 circuits and 2,000 strokes in his 32 -year -old season.

The star championship player tipped his hat with a standing crowd while he was standing at the first goal.

The 2,001st Machado success of his career occurred in the eighth round, when he hammered a cursor in the stands of the left field for a solo home run, his 15th circuit of the season, to reduce the advance of the diamondbacks to 6-3.

“It’s special and an honor to be part of this list,” said Machado about the successful 2000 club. “He would certainly have wanted victory, but moving away from that, it’s pretty cool.”

The Silver Slugger twice was happy to achieve the feat in front of Padres fans.

“Doing it in front of the local crowd is certainly much better, and I hope there are more,” said Machado.

Machado made his debut with Baltimore in 2012 and obtained 977 strokes with the Baltimore Orioles before being exchanged at the Los Angeles Dodgers on July 18, 2018. He had 73 strokes with the Dodgers before signing as a free agent with the Padres on February 21, 2019.

He is 950 sure with the Padres, who ranks fifth on the list of franchises. The Temple of Tony Gwynn fame had 3,141 in his 20 seasons career.

Machado was elected the third basic player of the National League Stars team this year as in the middle of another strong season. Machado has an average of the stick of .293 to accompany 15 circuits and 53 RBI while it continues to shine defensively to the third goal.
