MLB News: Mariners acquires the first goal player Josh Naylor of Diamondbacks

The Major Baseball League commercial deadline is officially underway.

The Seattle Navys acquired Josh Naylor, the first goal player from Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday, the teams announced. The Diamondbacks acquired the launchers from the Minor League Brandyn Garcia and Ashton Izzi in exchange for Naylor.

Naylor, 28, was very productive for diamondbacks this season. In 93 games, Naylor has an average of the stick of .292 with 11 circuits and 59 products produced.

The DiamondBacks acquired Naylor last season of the Cleveland Guardians to replace Christian Walker, who left for free agency for the Houston Astros.

Naylor did the American League Stars team last season because he had 31 circuits and 108 points produced with the Guardians.

“We are delighted to add Josh while we make an effort for the playoffs,” said Seattle Director of Seattle, Justin Hollander, in a statement. “Josh’s ability to knock both for the average and the power is unique, and we are delighted not to face him.”

Naylor will immerse himself at the top of the Navy range alongside the candidate of the MVP Al Cal Raleigh, the central defender Julio Rodriguez and the left -hand player Randy Arozarena.

Garcia experienced a 2.16 MPM in eight appearances with the Triple-A team of the Mariners.

Izzi, 21, was selected by the Mariners in the fourth round of the MLB 2022 recovery of the East Oswego High School in Illinois.

In 12 departures at High-A Everett, Izzi had an MPM of 5.51 on 47 1/3 rounds.

Diamondbacks should be active as the commercial deadline on July 31 approaches. At 50-53, the team had a disappointing season and could seek to lose players on expired contracts.

The third goal of the Diamondbacks, Eugenio Suarez, and the starting launchers Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly could also be in motion.
