After an awkward collision during the fourth round of the 5-4 victory of the Baltimore Orioles against the New York Yankees on Wednesday, the temperatures flared and the benches were erased.
Orioles voltiseur, Heston Kjerstad, stole the second goal, and by sliding, the second basic player of the Yankees, Pablo Reyes, landed in the area and neck of Kjerstad after having jumped in an attempted corral the launch of the Austin Wells recipient.

While Carrasco was heading for the second goal, the team’s benches and rescue launchers moved away from their respective canoes and enclosures and rushed to action. No punch was launched because only words were exchanged and the situation was quickly defused.
“We got tangled up there, the emotions on both sides have somehow dropped,” Kjerstad said after the match. “I don’t think it was too much.”
Reyes said he felt that he was disrespectful by Kjerstad’s comments after the play.

“A few words there, I felt disrespectful in the fire of the moment,” said Reyes through an post-match translator. “Later, he attenuated a little.”
“Maybe at the beginning he thought he had done it on purpose,” said Reyes. “But obviously, he couldn’t see the throw or how the game really developed.”
Orioles would win the match and win the series because they took two of the three Yankees games. The victory of the series against the Yankees was only their second victory of the season, when the Orioles had failed to start the season.

The Orioles (12-18) will play the Kansas City Royals (16-15) Friday at 7:05 p.m. he after a day off Thursday.
The Yankees (18-13) also have one day off Thursday, and their next match will be against the Rays of Tampa Bay (14-16) Friday at 7:05 p.m..
