Playing baseball is quite difficult to start. However, Arizona Diamondbacks’ survey launcher Jalen Beeks met another degree of difficulty in the team’s 8-2 victory on Colorado Rockies on Thursday.
Beeks, 32, swallowed a fly while it was in the middle of its delivery to marble.
“Yeah, I swallowed a fly when I raised my leg,” said Beeks via mlb.com. “It never happened, but you know, we went through it. We got victory. This is the important thing.”

Beeks was not disturbed by his meeting with the fly.
“I gagged a little. It took me a second, but I was going well. No big story. Good story for later, however.”
Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo was initially feared that Beeks was injured after looking at his reaction on the mound after the field.

“You simply hold your breath,” said Lovullo via mlb.com. “You wonder, like:” Is it an oblique? Is it the back? “”
“As I went out, he said that in turn, he went and the fly was present.”
Unfortunately for Beeks, the Rocky field player, Brenton Doyle, struck a Home Run solo in the same At-Bat as the Mouche incident. The Home Run de Doyle reduced the advance to 8-2 at the end of ninth round, and Beeks stayed in the match to get the last three withdrawals and close the victory.
