Matt Riddle will enter into the payment of the Vision of the Major League (MLW) Azteca Lucha Pay-Per-View when he would face Donovan Dijak for the world title.
Riddle held the MLW World Heavyweight Championship belt for almost four months after defeating Satoshi Kojima in Kings of Colosseum.
Since then, he beat Kojima and Alex Kane at Superfight 6 and won the Battle Riot match last month to keep the title.

Dijak may be Riddle’s most difficult challenge to date. He has not yet been pinned or submitted since he made his debut of MLW last year. He lost against Riddle during a mlw in December by disqualification. He made quick friends with the manager of Saint Laurent and found a new ally in Bishop Dyer when he made his debut in Battle Riot last month.
Riddle told PK Press Club Digital that he was aware of the challenges he faces, but that is part of the burden of being the best guy in the company.
“At the end of the day, it’s a bit like a motivation. Sometimes, when you are headless with someone, you drop your guard,” said Riddle. “Unfortunately for me, it is never an individual situation, even when it is supposed to be. It’s just another day for the brother. It’s just another day for the MLW heavyweight champion in the world.
“I think I’m ready. After winning the battle riot and having had 39 other competitors, including (Rob Van Dam) there and still distant … Mlw World Headlines Champion, I am confident, but not too confident, that I know what I need to do to do the job.”
Riddle will enter the match with bursts that he suffered during an assault of Dijak steel chair. Riddle has always promised to defend the title.

“The ribs are a little struck,” said Riddle. “But that will not happen in this work line. I think the important part is that Dijak is the one who is responsible for injuring my coasts. He will probably try to target them in this world title match in Chicago.
“I’m looking for that, but, at the same time, I made sit-ups. I tried to keep the abs tight.”

“I know as well as anyone to win the championship is difficult, but to keep the championship is even more difficult because now you are a marked man, everyone comes for you, everyone is shooting you for you,” said Audier. “And, in addition to that, you are asked to make media, you are asked to be the company’s face. It is a heavy burden to transport, and Riddle has been transporting for some time.
“If there is someone who will withdraw the championship and if at some point it’s okay, Chicago coming here on May 10 could very well be that day.”
