MNA require agricultural areas

Islamabad:

The legislators of the opposition and treasury benches on Wednesday called on Wednesday for the creation of special agricultural areas, it facilitates the centers of the country, the increase in the support of farmers and the financing of churches and temples to promote economic growth and social inclusion.

Resumption of the general budget debate on the fifth day of the National Assembly, Dr. Zulfikar Ali Bhatti of PML-N underlined the need to develop rural areas and strengthen the agricultural sector. He also pleaded to provide incentives to farmers. In addition, he called for the creation of IT facilitation centers in rural regions and the implementation of skills development programs for young people, especially in disadvantaged areas, to promote self -sufficiency.

Awais Haider Jhakar of Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) underlined the challenges facing farmers and criticized government policies that have contributed to a drop in agricultural production.

Abdul Ghafoor Haieri by Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam (FAZL) urged Vice-President Ghumlam Mustafa Shah to issue a decision calling for a strictly implicit punishment in the attempted abduction of Maulana Fazl Ur Rehman and asked for their immediate arrest.

Zulfiqar Ali Behan of the Pakistan People’s Party called for the imposition of an agricultural emergency in the country and the abolition of fertilizer taxes to stimulate agricultural production. He also called for the creation of a University of Naushahro Feroze.

Chaudhry MUBEEN ARIF Jatt de SIC requested an immediate withdrawal from the 18% (TPS) general sales tax on solar panels. He also underlined the difficulties that farmers face, noting that their products are sold at prices lower than their production costs.

Chaudhry Riaz Ul Haq of PML-N required an examination of the excessive powers of the Federal Board of Return (FBR) and underlined the need to reduce the prices of fertilizers.

Ejaz Hussain Jakhrani of the PPP said that the Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) provides excellent services in liver transplantation. He also said that the Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway was a vital need for the population and urged the authorities to pay attention to the project.

MNA Sohail Sultan said it was the government’s duty to relieve the people.

Syed Shah Ahad Ali Shah of SIC stressed the importance of offering targeted incentives to empower the country’s youth.

Discussing agriculture, MNA Nasir Iqbal stressed the importance of the sector and urged the government to increase crop prices or reduce production costs.
