THE Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase launched today, where Capcom gave fans the first overview of the first patch of major content of the game while teasing its summer update and the return of a familiar monster.
Beginning things with one of the most notable announcements of broadcasting, the next update will present a brand new monster called Mizutsune, a beast of water elements that can be unlocked at the Hunter Rank 21 and can be found in the Scarlet forest.
We did not obtain a ton of information on Mizutsune, but from a short clip, we know that he will use giant bubbles and a spraying attack of his mouth to counter the player at a long distance.
The players of Hunter Rank 50 and more will also be able to face Rey Dau of Tempeled Rey on April 29, and Zoh Sia can be fought again at the Hunter Rank 50 when the patch drops. The three monsters will abandon each of the materials that can be used to develop all new armor sets, and each of them looks incredible.
Another new feature arriving with the title Update 1 is the big hub, a larger and interactive gathering space for players who can be unlocked in rank 16, with a new barrel bowl-game with rewards, a wrestling of the arms and night performance of the diva.
Arena Quests will finally be implemented, allowing players to compete with other online hunters for the fastest completion times.
Défi quests and free challenge quests will also be available in limited -time event quests, the latter does not require any equipment limit and allows up to four players.
