- Montblanc makes a digital paper notebook
- It will cost $ 905 / £ 750 / $ 1,490 to
- It comes with 64 GB of storage, and what looks like a 10.3 inch screen
Montblanc, the manufacturer of German luxury products, has decided to extend its range of high -end stationery in the digital world with the new digital newspaper of Montblanc. As you can expect, the E Ink tablet is properly expensive.
According to the Montblanc store page, the digital newspaper will cost you $ 905 / £ 750 / $ 1,490 at, and in exchange, you will get a digital black and white notebook and a pen with 64 GB of storage for your sketches and handwritten tickets.
It supports Wi -Fi and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity – although it is only for the pen – and it can be linked to the Montblanc Digital Companion application (which can be downloaded from Android and iOS devices) to share your scribbles with your other technology.
To watch
Montblanc has not yet revealed the size of the screen, but the website indicates that digital paper is “4.9 mm x 191 mm x 222 mm”, which would give us a maximum possible 11.5 inch screen size. When you explain glasses, it will be lower than that, we therefore owed about 10.3 inches, since it is a common size for electronic books.
Laptops such as the Amazon Kindle Scribe and Kobo Elipsa 2nd, which cost particularly less than this Montblanc device – $ 449.99 / $ 429.99 $ 729 at or $ 399.99 / £ 349.99 £ 629.95 similar (although the Kobo comes with only the 32GB of their storage).
You can pick up the Montblanc digital paper in one of a color of colors – cool gray, mystery black, gold Elixir (which is a kind of bronzed mastic color) – and you can personalize your digital laptop with one of the folio -blue, antarctic, black or seashering blankets – which will make you fall from $ 205 / £ 170
You can also recover a replacement enclosure for $ 275 / £ 230 / $ 450 at the tip replacements, which are available in eight for $ 40 / £ 34 / $ 70 at. There are options of flax, matt and smooth rush, each offering different characteristics on how the tip slips on digital paper to simulate the different touch experiences that you will get a pen and appropriate paper.
Now, we have not yet reviewed the Montblanc tablet, but twice the price (or almost double) of its specific competitors, it is unlikely that it wins prizes to be an excellent value for money.
However, if you are in love with the signing styles of the Montblanc brand, you have long been counting on its high -end stationery and I want to enter the digital age with them, or after a digital paper slate with high sophistication on what you can get from Kobo, Amazon or the rest, then it could be the possibility for you.
