For the first time since the start of the MLB 2025 season, Los Angeles Dodgers are no longer in first place in the NL West.

Betts understands how an opportunity for his team, but this feeling of emergency comes with a certain caution on its side.
“This feeling of emergency is enormous, but you don’t want to do too much either,” he said. “You don’t want to have this feeling of urgency to become a pressure and intense. You always want to play and appreciate. It’s difficult, it’s balance.
“But guys playing with this feeling of urgency with joy, I think, are those who go up on occasion.”
Betts, which recently hot on the plate during a tumultuous campaign of 2025, knows what it takes not only to go to the playoffs, but also on the occasion to win a world series. He has three rings to show.
Enter the flow state with Corona
While Betts progresses, having a quiet, but intense state of mind, is the key, especially when the playoffs arrive.

Betts helped Corona, the official “Cerveza” of MLB, to create “Playa sounds”, selecting specific moments from the playoffs to associate with soothing beach sounds which help him enter this “state of flow”.
“I was able to choose a few moments in large swings, big blows, big playoffs, then you associate them with the beach sounds. These waves crash, it puts you just in the middle where you are ready for something intense, but you are also relaxed in order to be able to do everything that is,” said Betts.
“Because you don’t want to be too intense when you enter these intense moments. You don’t want to fight fire with fire. So I really have the impression that these sounds put you well between the two.
“It really helped and puts me in a good spirit.”
