Samson Mow is a renowned Bitcoin maxi who is often seen criticizing major altcoins, like ETH and XRP, while calling altcoins “s-coins.” This time he criticized the crypto affiliated with Ripple.
In a recent tweet, Mow wrote that he had seen many posts listing reasons “why you should hate Ripple/XRP” and said he wanted to add some perspective. As expected, his “perspective” was to solidify these reasons to hate the company and the token it works with.

Mow’s key argument against XRP in the US potential reserve
Samson Mow also addressed the debate that recently emerged on Platform .
Mow believes that adding anything other than Bitcoin means giving taxpayer money to companies and individuals who “printed their own token from scratch.” Mow used Elon Musk’s DOGE rhetoric here, as Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency attempt to reduce excessive and unjustified spending of money contributed to the budget by American taxpayers.

On Friday, founder Charles Hoskinson also said that nothing other than Bitcoin would be added to the US Strategic Crypto Reserve. He did not, however, criticize Ripple or XRP. Lately, Hoskinson has worked closely with the Ripple team to launch its stablecoin RLUSD on Cardano.
