Rawalpindi:

The third phase of the motivation for the privatization of public schools should start after Eidul Fitr. Under this phase, all public schools with an inscription of 100 students or less will be sold to private owners.

The Ministry of Education managed the district education officers and the heads of the education authorities of the 43 district of the province to compile and submit a list of schools that meet this criterion.

Sources indicate that a large number of these schools are located in rural villages, some are also found in urban areas, in particular primary schools in low -registration cities. These schools will be available for privatization immediately after Eid.

This decision is part of the continuous efforts of the government to rationalize the education sector and take up the challenge of the resources of underused public schools. By selling these schools, the government aims to reduce its financial burden.
