Detroit Lions’ pre-season match against Atlanta Falcons arrived at the Dark stop on Friday evening when Lions Safety Morice Norris took a hit.
Norris was followed for about 20 minutes and removed the land from an ambulance. The game ended with 6:31 to go after the players let the clock run.

Norris was injured with 14:50 to try to tackle Nathan Carter. There was no immediate report on the injury.
When the game resumed, the quarter of the Falcons Emory Jones had a shot and then held the ball while the players of the two teams stood on the melee line and the clock continued to run. Finally, with 6:31 on the left, an official announced that the match had been suspended “by New York”.

The Lions led 17-10 when they were arrested.
Lions coach Dan Campbell addressed the post-match press conference incident.
“He breathes, he speaks. It’s good. He has a movement,” said Campbell. “Now they will just perform more tests.”
The Lions quarterrier, Kyle Allen, told journalists he prayed for Norris, adding: “It is sometimes a terrible game.”
“I don’t think anyone on this touch line did not want to play,” said Allen. “We were not part of this decision, but you could just look in everyone’s eyes and see that it was not worth it.”

Norris, 24 years old, joined the lions as a free agent not drafted in 2024 in the state of Fresno. He spent time in the Detroit training team before joining the active alignment last season and participating in two games.
