- Most IT managers say that current cybersecurity tools cannot stop the threats fueled by AI
- The risks of initiates and the protection of AI systems are the main concerns for global IT teams
- Lenovo urges the integration of the adaptive AI in the defenses to remain competitive and secure
Current cybersecurity solutions are inadequate in defense against attacks fueled by AI, warned business leaders, which has made concerns about how they are supposed to protect their businesses effectively.
A Lenovo report walking 600 computer leaders around the world revealed that two thirds (65%) of leaders considered their defenses obsolete and unable to keep modern attackers at a distance.
The report noted that IT leaders are mainly concerned with three things: external threats, the risks of initiates and the defense of the AI itself, because the generator makes the cyberattacks “faster, more convincing and more difficult to detect”, explained Lenovo – which includes malmorphic malmorphic software, a phishing based on AI and an impossunation of deep Fisnes.
Include the balance
Almost three -quarters (70%) of IT leaders are concerned about the improper use of AI, which leads to risk of initiates.
More than 60% have said that AI agents in fact created a new class of initiate threats that their organizations are currently unable to manage.
Finally, they fear protecting AI itself, because models, training data and prompts are considered to be high-value targets which must be defended against manipulation and compromise.
“AI has changed the balance of powers in cybersecurity. To follow, organizations need intelligence that adapts as quickly as threats.
“With intelligent and adaptive defenses, IT leaders can protect their people, assets and data while unlocking AI full potential to advance business.”
To tilt the ladders, Lenovo offers a “two -steal approach”, which improves detection and integrates AI directly into the existing defenses.
This is easier to say than to do, however, because inherited systems, talent gaps and budgetary pressures slow down adoption.
However, it is worth it, maintains society, claiming that securing compatible workplaces AI defends not only the organization, but also “a growth engine and a competitive differentiator”, unlocking productivity, reducing costs and accelerating the adoption of digital work solutions supplied in AI.
AI slowly becomes “the fabric of business”, concluded Lenovo, suggesting that organizations that do not adopt it will ultimately be left.
