The Eagles of Philadelphia heading for the Super Bowl Lix had Jane Gaudreau, the mother of the end of the NHL Johnny Gaudreau, and his brother Matthew, thinking of his two sons on Sunday evening.
Hockey is perhaps the best sport of the Gaudreau family, but being from the south of New Jersey, the Eagles are just as important.
Jane shared a photo on her social media accounts from her two sons with personalized Gaudreau Eagles jerseys after the 55-23 victory against Washington commanders returned Philadelphia to “Big Game”.

Before the start of the regular Eagles season in 2024, the tragedy struck the Gaudreau family and the whole hockey world while Johnny and Matthew were killed by a drunk driver in the canton of Oldmans, New Jersey – The day before marriage of their sister. Earlier this month, Higgins refused to offer the accusation of 35 years in prison, pleading not guilty of his accusations resulting from the incident.
Higgins, 44, was arrested and charged with two guilty manslaught, two vehicle homicide chiefs, falsified evidence and leaving an accident.
The police noted that Higgins had a blood alcohol level of 0.087, above the legal limit of New Jersey to drive, and he failed a sobriety test on the ground. The police also said that Higgins was driving aggressively, which included the speed to drive several vehicles when he hit the Gaudreaus.

The Gaudreau family was in the courtroom to attend Higgins’ hearing, and two days later, Jane posted quotes on her Instagram apparently on what they and her family live.
“Sometimes life is difficult,” read the first quote. “Some days are very difficult, and sometimes you just have to cry before you can move forward … and it’s okay.”
“When you have a bad day – a very bad day – try to treat the world better than he has treated you”, read the second quote, which comes from Fall Out Boy’s Patump.
It has not yet been determined when Higgins must be provided for in court, although a trial is coming.
