Mozilla transforms his Open Source Thunderbird email client into a complete communication platform with the launch of Thundermail and Thunderbird Pro.
The expansion of Mozilla’s messaging services aims to compete with rival ecosystems like Gmail and Microsoft 365, which are richer in functionality, except Mozilla’s offer is distinguished by its open source of confidentiality, freedom, transparency and respect for users.
“Thunderbird loses users every day against rich ecosystems that are both customers and services,” confirmed Ryan Sipes, director general of the Thunderbird product, expressing the `why ” behind the expansion of Thunderbird.
