MPs from all parties on Saturday sounded the alarm over the growing influence of social media, calling for laws similar to those in other countries and agreeing on the need for swift and responsible action to ensure social media is used for the greater good of society and the future of the country.
In an exclusive interview with a local news channel, MPs highlighted the need for social media laws to protect young people, drawing on effective international legislation.
