Islamabad:
The European Union delegation in Pakistan welcomed a reception before the department for a high -level delegation of Pakistani parliamentarians who went to visit parliaments and parliamentary budget offices of Austria and Ireland.
The delegation, including 23 distinguished members, is led by the president of the Senate Yousaf Raza Gilani. It represents a diversified political leadership, in particular speakers of the provincial assemblies, members of the parliament of various political parties and senior officials of the parliamentary secretariat.
The visit is organized as part of a project of 15 million people funded by the EU, support for parliamentary development in Pakistan.
