Manama: The veteran of the Pakistan snooker player, Muhammad Asif, qualified for the final of the IBSF masters of the world’s world masters with an impressive 4-2 victory against Manan Chandra of India in the semi-finals held on Thursday at Crowne Plaza Bahrerain.

The former amateur world champion has shown great determination, bouncing after losing an early setting to take the match 4-2. The scores of the frame were 118-6, 0-84, 25-76, 92-11, 87-62 and 72-41.

Asif started the match at the top when he completely outclassed Chandra 118-6 in the opening framework.

One day earlier, Pakistan’s emerging picist, Hasnain Akhtar, also qualified for the final championship of the Snooker World U17 IBSF by beating Oliwier Nizialek 4-0 in Poland.

The formist in good shape, which has so far lost only one framework of its dominant campaign, has taken early control of the match by sealing three consecutive executives.

Nizialek, which could not mark two figures in each of the first three images, offered a certain fight in the essential competition, but its efforts were insufficient for Down Hasnain, which won a perfect 4-0 victory with the scores of 76-1, 69-8, 88-0 and 62-37.

Hasnain Akhtar will face Riley Powell from Wales in the final, scheduled for Friday.

In particular, the 16-year-old reserved his place in the semi-finals of the Snooker World U17 IBSF championship with a resounding 3-1 victory over Krzysztof Czapnik of Poland.
