- Mullvad VPN added Multihop to its Android application

To date, on March 28, 2025, Mullvad launched Multihop on its Android VPN application, promising to make online monitoring more difficult by reducing your traffic to two Wire Distinct Guélets servers.
A popular advanced safety feature among the best VPN services, the new version adds to the existing multi -cap function in Mullvad and iOS applications and is now available on the 2025.1 or more recent versions.
Why use Multihop Mullvad?
“The movement of your traffic via several servers in separate jurisdictions gives you a higher level of confidentiality and security, even if a server had to be compromised,” said Mullvad in an official announcement.
As its name suggests, the Multihop Mullvad function allows you to relaunch Wireguard traffic via two servers. This means that the input server, where your connection starts, will be different from the exit server reaching your final destination.
As the supplier says, it will create “a tunnel in a tunnel”.
You have total control of your favorite entry and output points from the list of 600+ servers in 49 countries that the supplier offers, directly in the application settings. Mullvad suggests choosing two servers in different jurisdictions if you want to make follow -up even more difficult.
“The opponents should launch synchronization attacks against traffic in several places to analyze your online use,” said the supplier.

You need Mullvad version 2025.1 or a new one to benefit from new multiple features.
Multihop activation is simple. Go towards Parameters and activate the Multiple Option by pressing the rocking.
Once activated, you can select your favorite entry and exit servers while heading to the Switching location Tab in the main interface.
Multihop is also available in mullvad desktop and iOS applications. This means that you can fully customize your level of privacy, regardless of the device you use.
