Three forests in Murree, namely Ghoda Gali, PP-1 and Samli ranges, have been severely affected by severe forest fires.
These fires, which have spread to 49 different areas, show no signs of slowing down and are intensifying, especially after dark.
The fire, now visible from miles away, has ravaged the local landscape.
Precious timber, worth millions of rupees, was destroyed in the flames, leaving a heavy financial toll on the region.
Local authorities and firefighting crews are struggling to contain the wildfires, which continue to intensify, particularly as night falls and winds pick up.
