The confrontation between the Bowler Pro six times Myles Garrett and the Browns of Cleveland reached new peaks this week while reports have surfaced on a meeting that did not finally occur.
Last month, the Rusher Star Pass recently informed the Browns of its desire to be negotiated to another team. Garrett then asked to meet the owner of Browns, Jimmy Haslam.

But according to NFL Network, Haslam rejected the request to meet Garrett. Haslam then pointed Garrett in the direction of the director general of the Browns, Andrew Barry, by Cleveland.com.

In a statement announcing his commercial request, Garrett said he preferred to land with a competitor next season. “The goal was to never go from Cleveland to Canton, it has always been to compete and win a super bowl,” he said.
Garrett doubled these feelings and concluded that they were not “aligned” on the direction of the franchise.

“I have a lot of love for Cleveland, but it’s always for me [competing] For the championships, winning these big games and winning the Lombardis, “Garrett told NFL Network in February.” We did not have the opportunity to do so. That’s all I ask. “”
“This is not a decision that I take lightly,” said Garrett. “It took time and a lot of conversations, but just looking at the team’s trajectory, speaking to some of the superiors … I have a lot of respect for them, but I don’t think we are aligned with the place where the team goes to the near future.”

The Browns finished last season with a 3-14 file and faced uncertainty in the quarter-back post as Rehabs by Deshaun Watson after recently torn his Achille tendon for the second time. Watson initially torn his right Achilles in October.
Brass from the Browns said they would not exchange the defensive player of the year of the NFL 2023. Head coach Kevin Stefanski previously said that Garrett was “part of the present. He is part of the future”.
Garrett has two more years on his contract with the team.
