Islamabad:
The Standing Commerce Committee of the National Assembly called on Tuesday on an increased administrative surveillance by the Ministry of Plant Protection in order to prevent recurrent disruption of rice exports from Pakistan, a vital sector of the country’s agricultural economy.
The Committee has examined the progress of crucial legislative measures and examined the pressing problems linked to trade aimed at strengthening the Pakistan commercial landscape.
Among the main concerns discussed was the issue of delays and disturbances that have hampered rice exports in recent months.
