The national database and the registration authority (NADRA) has launched a new initiative offering computerized national identity cards (CNIC) for life to Pakistani citizens who voluntarily commit to giving their bodies.
These intelligent national identity cards will carry a green heart symbol as a humanitarian contribution brand.
Eligible people aged 18 or over can obtain the marked intelligent national identity card (SNIC) or the national identity card for the Pakistanis abroad (Nicop) by visiting any Nadra registration center.
The functionality is also accessible via the Pak-ID mobile application.
