Interior Minister Mohin Naqvi said that a complete security plan had been set up for Muharram to check the disbelievers and ensure an improvement in surveillance.
He said that when visiting the Imambargah Asna Asna Asna center in G-6, Islamabad, on Monday when he reviewed the safety arrangements and other arrangements. He argued that security was on alert to thwart the harmful designs of loose enemies.
Naqvi said approval had also been granted for the deployment of the army to the Azad Cashmere, Gilgit-Baltistan and all provinces at their request. He added that the army will remain available to support the civil administration in these regions.
