Carson Hocevar drew the anger of several pilots on Sunday evening during the Ambetter Health 400 in Atlanta Motor Speedway during the second race of the 2025 Nascar Cup Series 2025 season.

Hocevar finished in second place while a prudence flag was released in the middle of the last round. This meant that the driver who was in the lead at the time of prudence was declared winner. This time, it was Christopher Bell who won the race, with Hocevar and Kyle Larson behind him.

However, after the race, several drivers were seen with Hocevar. The aggressive 22 -year -old driving did not seem to be going well with some of his colleagues.

“We are here to win races, not to be a group of boys and love each other and play on the playground together,” said Hocevar, via Nascar.com. “So, obviously, there are learning lessons. You don’t want to-no one who is growing or frustrating anyone, and there are things that I would certainly clean. But it’s just going to come with learning.

“Again, I am normally 40th, waiting for them to crash and hoping that they crash, and I finish in adolescence. So be at the front and get stage points in both steps and having a blow to win is something to hold my (head) high.

Ross Chastain, Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch were one of those who reacted to Hocevar races.

While Blaney led for first place, he received a Hocevar bump on the turn 234. Blaney was sent to rotation and a flag of prudence was released. Blaney was able to save his car and returned forward to finish in fourth place.

“I don’t slow down,” said Blaney. “He wrote with me, and he didn’t raise and just gave me a shot when I turn into [Turn] 1, and it turned me. I was just happy not to hang on to everyone and I was able to stay on the apron. “”

Chastain had one of the fastest cars of the day. He refused to go into the details of their conversation.

Busch noted that Hocevar had had a lot of “close calls” in the race.

“I mean, he was not even clear on me, I had to lift, and he put me in the fence of two in the first step,” he told NBC Sports. “So, he just tries to clog holes and do it at the last and last minute, and by creating jams of rondins on his back. It’s just, do it at the end, you know, do it in The last 30 laps, not in the first 230s.

It was the 45th series of the Nascar Cup of Hocevar in his career and his seventh Top 10. It was the best finish he had on the circuit.

He previously finished in third place in Watkins Glen last year.
