Nascar driver Christopher Bell devotes Bristol’s victory to Charlie Kirk

Nascar driver, Christopher Bell, devoted his victory to Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee, conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Saturday in the week in the UTAH.

A few moments after getting out of his car, Bell announced that his victory was dedicated to Kirk.

“It was not pretty at the end, but we did it,” said Bell, the driver of # 20 Dewalt Toyota, after the victory.

“More importantly, this week was obviously a very difficult week. You know, there are a lot in our minds,” he continued.

“This one is for Charlie,” added Bell.

Kirk, the 31-year-old co-founder of USA Turning Point, was shot dead on the University of Utah Valley campus on Wednesday afternoon. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition before he was said later dead.

The alleged shooter was identified as Tyler Robinson, 22, whose family persuaded him to surrender after a two -day man hunt.

Other major figures in sports have paid tribute to Kirk since his assassination on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Dodgers lift, Blake Treinte, during the Friday evening match against the Giants of San Francisco, wore a hat on the mound that featured the name of Kirk alongside a cross.

The inscription on his hat read “Charlie Kirk” and a cross was also in a good place.

The Chicago Cubs also paid tribute to Kirk before the team match on Friday. Describing him as a fan of cubs for life, the team held a “moment of reflection” and called for the end of “all political violence”.

New York Yankees were the first professional sports team to honor Kirk, taking a moment of silence to commemorate the influencer before Wednesday against the Tigers de Detroit.

Meanwhile, the NFL published a statement on Friday by addressing a tribute to Kirk before his last match, and said that the teams should make their own decisions on the opportunity to follow this Sunday.

Thursday evening’s match between Green Bay Packers and Washington Commanders presented a moment of silence in honor of Kirk before kick -off.

“The time of last night was the decision of the League. It is at the clubs for this Sunday games,” said the league declaration.
