President Donald Trump received applause from the crowd at Daytona International Speedway while Air Force One landed at the airport before his arrival for Daytona 500 on Sunday.
The president’s plane flew over the speedway before he landed at Daytona International Airport. Crowd cheers were heard on the broadcast of Fox while pre-race hosts spoke to Chase Elliott. Nascar fans and pilots watched the plane flying on the track.

Trump published a statement before landing at the airport. He will be the first president in practice to attend two Daytona 500 races at Daytona International Speedway. He attended the race the first time in February 2020.

Trump also thanked the American soldiers for their service.
