Lahore:
While Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) is preparing for another anti-government movement, the president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, swore on Wednesday to find any attempt to attempt Create what he called “artificial political crisis”.
The former Prime Minister said that the people would no longer allow anyone to throw a key in the work of national progress. He stressed that the progress of Pakistan will not be derailed by “uncommon groups with the principles of politics and democracy”.
Speaking at his residence in Raiwind at a meeting with Senator Irfan Siddiqui, Nawaz Sharif said that the Pakistani people would no longer tolerate the disruptions of the country’s development path.
He added that if the progress initiated in 2013 had continued without interruption, Pakistan would not have needed IMF help or external financial aid today.
“The country stands up again by the grace of Allah, and young people need a peaceful and developing Pakistan where they can play their role according to their potential,” he said.
Nawaz urged PML-N legislators to actively expose elements trying to distribute instability inside and outside the parliament. He added that these groups did not have the capacity to engage in a serious political dialogue or to resolve questions thanks to a mutual understanding.
He also stressed the importance of PML-N parliamentarians now with solid links with the public and playing an effective role in the legislative process.
Senator Irfan Siddiqui informed the president of the PML-N on the performance of the party in the Senate and his parliamentary strategy.
After negotiations between the government and the opposition collapsed, PTI has renewed efforts to forge a great alliance against the federal government. The founding president of the PTI, Imran Khan, ordered leaders to accelerate contact with other opposition parties for protests provided after Eid.
