A field wrestling match in the match on Wednesday evening between the Houston Rockets And Phoenix Suns resulted in two ejections and a bloody player.
Steven Adams of Houston and Plumlee Mason from Phoenix both received double techniques and ejected at the end of the second quarter after the physical game under the net, the players fought on the ground.

“We just got attached,” said Plumlee about the incident after the match. “He went to the boards and did what he was doing, so I met him physicality and, yes, you all saw him.”

With about three minutes remaining in half, both NBA players jostled for a rebound when Adams and Plumlee locked his arms. The jostling continued and Adams seemed to lift plumlee on the ground and on the ground.
The fight continued on the ground with the two players separated by a mixture of coaches, teammates and civil servants.
“Listen, everyone will see the clip that has happened, but as it goes for each rebound and it does it, whether dirty or not,” added Plumlee. “I just felt like I was more physical than us, so I just made a point to hit him on the glass.”

Plumlee left the court with a bleeding cut above his eyebrow, but he said that it was “nothing major”.
Houston coach Ime Udoka said he was surprised by the decision to expel the two players.
“It seemed to be throwing themselves,” he said. “They both fell and anything, had a little wrestling match. I didn’t think they would be ejected for that.”

Sun coach Mike Budenholzer apparently accepted.
“They are just two guys getting tangled,” he said. “The two physique. The two contenders.”
Jalen Green of Houston collected 29 points to lead the Rockets to a 111-104 victory against Phoenix, extending the team’s victories sequence with four.
