NBA News: Gregg Popovich would have another medical emergency

Gregg Popovich would have experienced a medical emergency Tuesday evening in a San Antonio steakhouse.

The San Antonio Spurs coach had a “soft blow” in November and has not resulted since.

TMZ reports that Popovich has left the restaurant in an ambulance, and officials say they have received a call according to which an elderly “passed out”.

Popovich would have suffered from injuries or deadly diseases, and he was alert when he entered the ambulance.

The 76 -year -old man missed six games earlier this season before the team announced that he had a stroke. He trained the first five games of the team season.

The team said he had to recover completely. Mitch Johnson directed the Spurs in the absence of Popovich.

In December, six weeks after his stroke, Popovich had not excluded a return, saying ironic: “No one is no longer excited to see me return to the bench that talented people who directed my rehabilitation process. They quickly learned that I am less coachable.”

Popovich confirmed at the end of February that he would not come back for the rest of the season.

“Mitch Johnson and its staff have done a great job, and the resolution and professionalism that the players have shown, remain together for a difficult season, was exceptional,” he said in a statement at the time. “I will continue to focus on my health in the hope of being able to return to training in the future.”

Popovich is The NBAs Career leader with 1,401 victories and 170 other victories in the playoff series while winning five NBA titles. He is in his 29th season, all with San Antonio. The team missed the playoffs this year.
