While many past and current NBA players are under contract with a conglomerate of sports shoes and sportswear, Jonathan Isaac is carrying his own brand when he walks on the basketball field.
Orlando Magic striker founded Unitus, a brand of faith clothes. According to the official website of the company, the brand goes beyond the production of premium Christian clothing and shoes, it is “a world movement for a positive change”.
“We believe that Jesus offers our world a better way, and we boldly defend our faith in him. Our mission is to inspire and empower people to live in greater unity, greater freedom, strength and goal.”

Isaac admitted that he had ended up being “forced” to launch his own line of sneakers.
“I was signed for Nike in 2020 and unfortunately, I injured myself … I torn my ACL,” Isaac told PK Press Club Digital. “Nike had made the decision not to resign me. While I cross my rehabilitation process … I actually went to my pastor … and he said to me” why don’t you just make your own sneaker? “”
The Pastor of Isaac then challenged him to be at the forefront of the active players of the NBA in the independent space of the sneakers. The 27 -year -old said that the creation of his own brand had given him creative autonomy.

“With this freedom to make my own sneaker, I could make it completely unique to myself. (I wanted to do) a shoe that demonstrates the faith, demonstrates what is important for me. My second name is Judah, so we (call it) Judah. And each shoe has a visible verse outside, and that’s how it started. And that went from this whole brand.
Isaac has not avoided talking about his beliefs. However, this can often lead to a consoup. Isaac said he was doing his best to filter negativity.
“The most important thing for me is to spend as little time as possible on social networks, especially on X. It goes crazy there. But, it is difficult (because) sports and some other professions, no one in their regular life has as much comments as we do because we play live, and now you have Parlays and now you have all these other things.
“Once you have played, you have 50 (direct messages) of people saying” oh you spoiled this “or” you did well “or” you did not do well “. It is difficult to face an ordinary human being.
Isaac appeared in 71 games during the 2024-25 NBA season.
