Michael Jordan will be back in basketball next season.
The champion of the NBA six times and the legend of Chicago Bulls will be a “special contributor” for the coverage of the NBC League while the network should broadcast games from later this year.

The announcement was made during the initial presentation of NBC in New York.
“I am so excited to see the NBA again on NBC,” he said in a press release. “The NBA on NBC was a significant part of my career, and I am delighted to be a special contributor to the project. I can’t wait to see you all when the NBC on NBC is launched in October.”
Jordan has been far from the game for almost two years after having sold her Charlotte Hornets participation in August 2023 for more than $ 3 billion. He turned his attention to the 23X race and the pursuit of a NASCAR championship.

He will be part of the game as a contributor again.
“Michael’s heritage on and off the field speaks of himself,” said NBC sports president Rick Cordella. “We are incredibly proud to have it joined our cover.”
Jordan is considered the biggest NBA player of all time. He remained unbeaten during his races in the NBA final, at five NBA MVP prizes and was an All-Star 14 times. He played the majority of his career with the Bulls before ending with Washington Wizards.

Comcast obtained an 11 -year -old media rights agreement for NBA matches last July. ESPN / ABC and Amazon will also have NBA games. NBC will also broadcast them on Peacock.
