The Minnesota Timberwolves observed a moment of silence for the woman shot and killed by an ICE agent during an immigration raid in Minneapolis earlier this week.

Renee Good, 37, was killed then, Department of Homeland Security secretary says Kristi Noemdriving a vehicle that officers ordered him to exit from. Good, according to Noem, refused and “attempted to run them over and ram them with his vehicle.”

“Our thoughts are with his family and everyone affected, and our hearts are with our community as we hope for healing and unity during this difficult time,” the arena’s public address announcer said.

The bulletin board showed a photo of a vigil with the words “In memory of Renée Nicole Good.”

During the moment of silence, a fan in attendance shouted, “Go home, ICE.” Another shouted “F— ICE,” as cheers broke out.

“As we all know, our community has suffered yet another unspeakable tragedy,” Timberwolves coach Chris Finch said before his team beat the Cleveland Cavaliers. “We just want to send our condolences, our deepest wishes, our prayers and our thoughts to the families, loved ones and all those who are greatly affected by what happened.”

The shooting fueled new protests around the Twin Cities, amid a recent surge in ICE activity in the region as part of the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration.

Noem said Good’s actions against ICE agents before the shooting constituted an “act of domestic terrorism.”

“One of our officers acted quickly and defensively, shooting to protect himself and those around him,” she said.

Good worked as a Minneapolis-based anti-immigration activist and member of “ICE Watch,” DHS sources told PK Press Club. DHS sources told PK Press Club the group aims to monitor, track, interfere and oppose ongoing federal immigration enforcement operations. The group has a presence in several sanctuary cities across the country.

According to DHS, Good followed federal ICE agents to two other locations before the shooting and was block the road to interfere with continued law enforcement in the area.
