The New York Knicks shocked the Boston Celtics to open their NBA eliminatory series in the second round in an exciting way on Monday evening.
The Knicks erased a 20-point deficit to force overtime and beat the Celtics, 108-105, in a match where Boston missed 45 three-point shots.
Jalen Brunson was almost the hero of the buzzer, just like match 6 against the Pistons de Detroit in the first round, while Karl-Anthony Towns found him with a sweet pass to the basket with only a few remaining seconds in the fourth quarter.

But Brunson’s float on Al Horford did not have the right amount of finesse, and he rocked the edge to force overtime instead of receiving victory in the settlement.
However, the Knicks used their momentum in the fourth quarter, where they outstripped the Celtics 25-18, in addition to time. Og Anunoby, who had a key point three points less than two minutes of regulation to help New York efforts to force overtime, soaked and nailed his frank launch to take a 103-100 lead.

Anunoby equaled the 29 points of Brunson in the night, going 10 out of 20 on the ground, including 6 out of 11 beyond the arc.
The Knicks pushed their advance to six when Mikal Bridges overturned a 23 -foot pointer to shock the crowd of the TD garden. Jayson Tatum would finally get the Celtics on the table in overtime, but Towns shot to keep his head with 1:47 to play.

Boston started to feel life again after Jaylen Brown finally nailed a three points to get less than three points, but the Celtics could not force more overtime while the bridges stripped Brown from an incoming pass in the buzzer. Bridges, which played 51 of the 53 minutes in total in the chronometer, was the key to the Boston stop in overtime with two shots blocked before the flight.
He cannot be overestimated how badly the Celtics did not get from the territory at three points on Monday evening – generally a specialty for this group. They were cold from there in the second half and finally finished 35.1% in the field team.
Tatum was only 7 out of 23 shots, including 4 out of 15 out of three. He finished with 23 points, 16 rebounds, six assists and two interceptions. Brown was only 1 in 10 of three, although he went 7 out of 20 on the field with 8 out of 10 made free throws for 23 points.

More Knicks, Towns succeeded 13 rebounds at his 14 points for a double-double, while Josh Hart has found huge rebound capacities as usual, ending with 11 and marking 14 points. Outside the bench, McBride Miles “DEUCE” collected 11 points.
If this game says something about this series, then it seems to shape as another classic fight between these light rivals.
