An NBA referee obtained one of the most brutal blows in a eliminatory match Thursday evening.
During the 2 match of the West Conference final between Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves, the longtime manager Scott Foster was bloodied after taking a hit.
Foster set up a jump ball between Lu sleeps and Julius Randle in the first quarter, and when Dort returned, he rocked Foster opposite.

Foster immediately ran to the marker’s table, holding his hand under his nose to prevent the blood from getting on the ground.
It was followed by coaches and gave towels before connecting your nose to stop bleeding.
Foster has been an NBA official since the 1994-1995 season. He has often been nicknamed “extension” because he has become rather known than the teams lying around in a job season often won matches he officiates.

He also became rather synonymous with Chris Paul, who went 3-17 in eliminatory matches officiated by Foster. Paul was seated on the edge of the courtyard when the injury occurred.
The Thunder took an advance in the 2-0 series with the help of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who, 24 hours after being appointed MVP of the NBA, lost 38 points. OKC won, 118-103.
“I have the impression that all my emotions were so high, but I was a little tired there, especially at the beginning,” said Gilgeous-Alexander. “I was a little too juice.
Jalen Williams collected 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Chet Holmgren added 22 points for the Thunder.
Minnesota closed less than 10 in the last period, but Oklahoma City kept the Timberwolves at a distance late.
Anthony Edwards scored 32 points, but it took him 26 shots to get them. Jaden McDaniels scored 22 points and Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 17 for the Timberwolves.

Now Minnesota returns home, where it is 4-1 in the playoffs. Match 3 is on Saturday in Minneapolis.
