NBA Star Josh Hart Celebrates the Rise of Christianity on Social Media

New York Knicks star Josh Hart posted a message on social media Wednesday celebrating the rise of Christianity.

Hart reshared a clip from PK Press Club that highlighted a surge in Bible sales, religious mobile app downloads and contemporary Christian music streams, complete with celebration emojis.

Hart received praise and support for his celebration from some users, who defended him against criticism.

“I hope you ignore all the negative reactions in the replies. Remember what Jesus said: ‘And you will be hated by everyone for my name’s sake. But whoever endures to the end will be saved.’ Matthew 10:22,” one user wrote.

Another user wrote: “The number of people in the comments who view Josh posting this as a bad thing is alarming.”

Other users criticized Hart for posting the clip and celebrating statistical trends.

“Josh is out here amplifying right-wing tweets,” one critic wrote.

Hart had a career year with his big minutes for the Knicks in the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 13.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He also shot 52.5% from the field.
