The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has announced a reduction in electricity prices for consumers through Pakistan as part of the monthly adjustment mechanism, Express News reported.
According to the notification of NEPRA, electricity rates for Karachi consumers have been reduced by RS3 per unit, while rates for consumers from other parts of the country have been reduced by RS2.12 per unit.
NEPRA has issued separate notifications for adjustments, declaring that consumers will receive the relief of their Mars electricity bills.
The reduction of electric consumers K is based on the monthly adjustment of December 2024, while the decrease in other consumers in the country is applied under the adjustment of January 2025.
