This year’s animated convention was a success for Netflix, with the streaming service which is launching new trailers for three of its biggest shows for next year: Samurai blue eyes Season 2, The devil can cry Season 2 and Ragnarok III record. It is above a teaser for Splinter Cell: Deathwatchbroadcast on October 14, and a trailer of mid-season for Sakamoto Days Part 2. Frankly, I don’t even know what to be excited for the most.
We will dive into the details of each new trailer, but cover a context. We already have more new anime shows to expect in addition to what Netflix has just made its debut, including The scented flower flowers with dignity,, Beast And Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. Hikaru summer is dead And Sakamoto Days are always broadcast episodes every week, and all of this is even before we consider the vast catalog of Streamer’s back (which, in my opinion, has some of the best anime shows of all time).
So why do these three show that we have to watch? According to X / Twitter fans, the new trailers already seem “even better than Esoteric“” Which is an absolutely massive statement. The Legends League Anime always has a huge 100% criticism on Rotten Tomatoes, and I am incredibly confident that at least one of the new Netflix animated seasons can compete with success.
Blue Eye Samurai season 2
To watch
It is Samurai blue eyes Season 2 that I really put my money to compete with the success of Esoteric. The beautiful unique visuals and the dark and convincing narration instantly distinguished season 1 of the crowd, and if the above is something to pass, the creators do not compromise on the details. The production has just started, so I guess we will wait to see new episodes towards the middle or the end of 2026.
The teaser shows Mizu on the path of a demon, and we have no idea who is held on his way. The creators Amber Noizumi and Michael Green told Netflix in 2023: “Mizu has much more blood to get rid”, but is his target only Abijah? “He has a function, it’s a roadmap for others. She fully plans to kill him, but she first needs him,” added Green.
Devil May Cry Season 2

To watch
Not only is The devil can cry Season 2 arrives definitively in 2026 (probably earlier than Samurai blue eyes Season 2 since we get a first glance), but that follows original video games to the letter. In the clip above, we see Dante facing his twin brother still in Vergil fashion, even if he had been struck off as death the last time we saw him. “I hoped that it would be you, a little brother,” said Vergil while the two sank, the blades drawn.
Already sitting pretty with a 95% criticism score on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s another shoo for Goat Anime State next door Esoteric. The fact that season 2 was renewed only a week after season 1 did not hurt either, but it is the granular gothic aesthetic and the net handle on its characters that fans like the most. The anime as a whole is not demon hunters, but The devil can cry is among the best to look at.
Ragnarok III record

To watch
Unlike the other two programs, we have already seen an overview of what will happen Ragnarok III record. This is a second trailer that is published now. The creator Takumi Fukui told Netflix: “A lot of time has passed since the explosive end of the second season. Thanks to the support of our fans, the third season is finally there! How is this fiery battle that we represented in the comic strip will be recreated? How will certain movements and scenes come to life on the screen?
“In addition, familiar characters will meet again. I can’t wait for everyone to see the continuation of the battle between the gods and humanity!”
It is also a bit of a cheating date. We currently have no idea if Ragnarok III record Will be broadcast in one go or on a weekly basis which will go well in 2026. However, it is preferable to the news, the episodes are all at the same time, which will start just before the new year of December 2025. The fingers crossed for the latter, but I have a feeling that Netflix will again benefit from their established success of a weekly fall here.
