Netflix gave Willy Wonka fans the opportunity to live their dream of going to the chocolate factory.
The streamer announced a reality show entitled The golden ticket, which was inspired by the popular novel by Roald Dahl.
But not everyone could enter, because Netflix shared a link to record. From there, they will select the cast.
Selected people will enter the factory as Willy Wonka’s guest, but not for a tour.
Instead, they would participate in a “social experience with high issues”, said the announcement.
“Players will have to adapt and develop strategies, because a golden ticket only takes you so far.
The unicated series intervened after the streamer acquired the Roald Dahl Story Company.
“We are delighted to give life to the magic of Chocolate Factory like never before,” said Jeff Gaspin, vice-president of Unscripted at Netflix.
“This unique reality competition mixes adventure, strategy and social dynamics, creating an experience as captivating as it is unpredictable.”
“For the first time, some lucky people will not have to imagine the experience – they will be able to enter the factory and live it.”
Meanwhile, Netflix did not share Golden tickets Date of first and location.
