- Another DJI Osmo Pocket 4 leak has surfaced
- It shows the back of the vlogging camera in action
- An official launch shouldn’t be too far away now
We’re expecting to see quite a few new DJI products in the coming weeks, including the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 vlogging camera – and now a new leaked image has shown the device in action in the wild, ahead of its official unveiling.
This leak comes from The New Camera (via Notebookcheck), and it appears to show the upcoming camera right next to the current model. Perhaps this is some sort of performance test or promotional session for the product.
So what does the image tell us about the successor to the DJI Osmo Pocket 3? Not much we don’t already know from previous leaks, including that the new model will have a slimmer, more refined design.
Although the camera, which has not yet been announced, appears taller than the model it replaces in this photo, the angle at which the photo is taken and the shooting stand used probably means there isn’t too much of a difference here in terms of height.
Ongoing upgrades
We’ve already seen leaked images of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4, notably pointing to two major improvements: a second camera sensor to improve photo and video capture, and an additional screen installed on the front of the camera.
These improvements to the current model, along with DJI’s accumulated heritage, mean this is likely an instant contender for our best vlogging camera list – and we’re now expecting a launch sooner rather than later.
The leaked image we have here isn’t particularly high quality, so we can’t see too much detail on the camera, but if we see it tested in the real world like this, then an official reveal can’t be too far away.
Additionally, it seems likely that we will also see the DJI Osmo Action 6 in the coming weeks, as well as a global rollout of the DJI Neo 2. However, with a US ban looming for DJI, it is unclear whether these devices will launch in this country.
