New York Yankees have activated the superstar defender of the superstar Aaron Judge outside the injured list, the team announced on Tuesday.
The Yankees have lost four consecutive games and slip into the standings and hope that the return of the judge may be the spark they sorely need.
The judge, 33, was placed on the injured list on July 27, retroactive until July 26, with a stroke of the right elbow. The tests revealed that the judge did not tear his UCL, so he spent the minimum time on the injured list.

The double MVP of the American League is in the middle of another MVP caliber season. The judge had an average of the stick of .342 with 37 circuits and 85 points produced in 103 games before the injury.
While the judge will be activated, he has not yet started to launch since the injury, he will therefore return as the designated striker of the team. However, the Yankees currently have Giancarlo Stanton as a designated striker.
Stanton, 35, was one of the best team strikers since he left the injured list and made his season debut on June 16. In 36 games, Stanton has an average of the stick of .270 with 10 circuits and 28 products produced.

Stanton, at this stage of his career, is not fast and with the judge who returns to programming as a designated striker, he could be forced to spend time in the outside field. The last time Stanton played in the outside field was September 14, 2023.
Since May 28, the Yankees have a 25-33 sheet and have gone from the first in the American League is in the third in the division, while the Red Boston Red Sox have exceeded them in the ranking.

The Yankees currently occupy the second point of Joker in the American League.
The Yankees (60-53), with the judge, will seek to turn things against the Texas Rangers (59-55) at 8:05 p.m. on Tuesday.
