Rawalpindi:
Following the inclusion of areas surrounding the new Islamabad international airport within the administrative limits of the Rawalpindi district, a new airport police station was created and a house officer (SHO) was appointed.
A temporary building for the police station was rented on the road to the Link motorway. However, a permanent structure will be built later after acquiring land on or near the airport.
When the new Islamabad international airport has become operational, its terminal, its terminal, its track and its funnel area lasted three different jurisdictions: the district of Attock, the Rawalpindindi district and certain parts of the territory of the capital of Islamabad. Legally, only the new airport police station in Attock had jurisdiction in the airport area.
However, given the security problems and the need for a unified jurisdiction, the government has reassured the complete administrative control of the airport and its surrounding areas in the Rawalpindi district last year. Therefore, it was decided to establish a new airport police station specifically for the airport and the adjacent areas.
We learned that the new police station was trained by dividing the jurisdiction of the Naseerabad police station, in particular areas which were previously under his Hameedan police station.
